HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to 2017! I hope you've all had a great year and that the new year is even better.

In the Apocalypse Whenever group, we can expect more of the same in 2017, and like previous years, we'll probably try out some new things too - we're constantly evolving around here:-)

Now, on to the good stuff!

"Antioch is a multi-genre sci-fi with elements of alchemy and mysticism that trace back to ancient Egypt, including the teenage years of Augustus Caesar and Marcus Agrippa."

"The sun is strange, and the lights in the sky have shut down the world. Technical writer Roger was on a work trip to Texas when it all happened. Trapped between chaos and the rise of a mysterious, fanatical rancher known as the White Texan, Roger seeks to find his way north, and home to his wife."

This giveaway is also for the first book, Letters from the Apocalypse.

"Nineteen years ago, a brain disease known as the Great Madness killed most of the world’s population. The survivors all had something different about their minds.

Now, at the start of adolescence, their children enter a trance-like state known as the Changeland and emerge either with special mental powers or as cannibalistic Ferals."

"It has been 268 days since the end of the world, but Jacob Trimble is still doing his best to survive it. Trying to salvage what is left of society is no easy task, especially when there are only a few hundred other survivors.

A Gathering of Lions and Lambs is an emotionally-charged, character-based tale of a young man faced with helping a small remnant of humanity fight their way back from the brink of extinction.

Bossy Book Challenge!

That's right, it's that time again!

This time we're doing something a little different. Oh heck, we do something different every time, but this is even more so... we'll be selecting books from our buddy's TBR... the ones that have been on there for ages.

Here's how the BBC works. I assign book buddy pairs, and each book buddy will look at the other's oldest ten books on their Want To Read list. If you've been on Goodreads for a while, it could be a book you've had on your TBR for a decade! The buddy will then choose a book from those books for their buddy to read.

Curious? Come check it out: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/18409076-bossy-book-challenge---old-tbr-january-february
